In January, EBSCO began updating user interfaces for EBSCOhost, CINAHL, and PsycINFO, among other products. Although we have not yet seen an update to CINAHL, PsycINFO’s interface has changed and is now more streamlined with less visual clutter. One change you’ll notice is the new location of the export feature, which allows you export citations to citation managers such as EndNote. This feature is now available by clicking the Cite button, which is the quotation mark icon that appears once you’ve selected citations you’d like to export.
Here is a step-by-step guide to using this feature:
1. After you've conducted your search, select citations you'd like to import to your citation manager.
2. Click on the Cite icon.
3. Click "Export citation."
4. Click "Export in RIS format."
5. Your file will appear in Downloads. If you double-click on the file name, it should open in EndNote and export your citations to your library.
