CLASSES and TRAINING

Faculty and Employees can attend Pratt and UC Health Sciences Library (HSL) classes and training. 

The Pratt Library offers limited training at this time. See the Calendar on the side navigation for specific training, dates and sign up information.

  1. Pratt Library Orientation - Online training in the ELM - sign up in the ELM searching 'Pratt Research Library Orientation' or search activity code PS_07250_20220610_0000_WB_WEBB
  2. RN Residents - On line training is available on our Evidence Based Literature Searching guide.
  3. Schedule a custom training session or workshop with your team using the link below. 

University of Cincinnati Health Sciences Library (HSL) offers workshops that are open to not only faculty but anyone interested. Please be aware most workshops are in-person in the HSL Troup Learning Space (G005G, 231 Albert Sabin Way).These workshops are open to anyone but you must sign up for a free account*. Some in person workshops of interest include:

  4. Introduction to Literature Searching

*To sign up for a workshop follow the directions below:

  1. Go to the UC Workshops website.
  2. Click 'Log in' (located on the top right of the screen under the UC logo).
    a. UC faculty or students choose 'Use UC Login'
    OR
    b. Guests choose 'External Login' and create a guest account which can be used to register for any workshop or event.

Please note: The title of the page states Faculty Development | One Stop but anyone can sign up to take a workshop.
