Pratt Library Mission Statement:  

Empowering our Cincinnati Children’s community to use information efficiently, effectively, and ethically to improve child health and transform the delivery of care.  ​

Book Pick up and Return Boxes:

  • South East corner of T (Atrium, bottom of stairs) Floor 2 - Book pick-up and drop-off locker. 
  • D2 - Book return only. This box is located near the exit across from T Building & Shuttle stop.  As you enter D2, it is located downstairs in the left hallway.
  • Please refer to Pratt emails for specific instructions on pick-up and drop off options.

Current Classes and Training

Faculty and Employees can attend Pratt and UC Health Sciences Library (HSL) classes and training. 

  1. Pratt Library Orientation - Search by course name in Workday. Course is self-directed.
  2. RN Residents - On line training is available on our Evidence Based Literature Searching guide.
  3. Schedule a custom training session or workshop with your team using the link below.
  4. PubMed and EndNote: Search by course name in Workday to enroll.

University of Cincinnati Health Sciences Library (HSL) offers workshops that are open to not only faculty but anyone interested. Please be aware most workshops are in-person in the HSL Troup Learning Space (G005G, 231 Albert Sabin Way).These workshops are open to anyone but you must sign up for a free account*. Some in person workshops of interest include:

*To sign up for a workshop follow the directions below:

  1. Go to the UC Workshops website.
  2. Click 'Log in' (located on the top right of the screen under the UC logo).
    a. UC faculty or students choose 'Use UC Login'
    OR
    b. Guests choose 'External Login' and create a guest account which can be used to register for any workshop or event.

Please note: The title of the page states Faculty Development | One Stop but anyone can sign up to take a workshop.
