Test to ensure your link is actually a permalink

The best way to ensure that your links are actually permalinks is to check them on a different computer than the one you created them on.  You can also try testing them again on the same computer at least a day or two later, but a different computer is the best test.

If the Pratt Research Library or UC Libraries don’t have access to the book or article electronically:

• Make a list of the unavailable titles to review at the end of this process.
• If the library doesn’t have a subscription to a book or journal, please see the Copyright & Fair Use information and consider purchasing a reprint.
• If the library does not subscribe to a title you wish to share you can purchase a reprint from the Copyright Clearance Center: https://www.copyright.com/get-permissions/ They will most likely charge a fee.
• You may submit purchase requests for consideration using our Purchase Recommendation Form but there is no guarantee of purchase.
