Pratt Library Adds & Drops

As of 12/31/17 the Edward L. Pratt Research Library will no longer provide institutional access to the following resources:

Infection and Immunity

Journal of Clinical Microbiology

Journal of Virology

Molecular and Cellular Biology

International Journal of Developmental Biology

Please know that the decision to cancel these subscriptions was made with much thought and consideration to the value they have provided to members of the Cincinnati Children’s community.  The first four titles listed above can still be accessed via the University of Cincinnati Collection.  For more information on how to access the UC collection please see this helpful guide.

Pratt Library has also added the following resources to its collection for the immediate benefit of our users:

AccessPediatrics® from McGraw-Hill Medical is an automatically updated online resource offering residents, faculty, clinicians, and all healthcare professionals an unparalleled suite of texts and tools for reference and research, and self-assessment.  Popular titles include Rudolph’s Pediatrics, Currednt Diagnosis & Treatment: Pediatrics, The Philadelphia Guide Inpatient Pediatrics, Atlas of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and many more!

Henry Stewart Talks: The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection provides immediate access to over 2,300 specially commissioned, animated, on-line lectures by world leading authorities. New lectures are added every month and existing material reviewed and updated as necessary.

Feel free to contact us at Prattlibrary@cchmc.org with any questions or concerns.
